Serve

At CEM, we firmly believe that strong and vibrant communities are the foundation of our country, and that as a business we have an obligation to provide products and services that help build and enhance our community. Sharing our time and success is also a critical component of supporting our community.

LEARN ABOUT OUR GRANT APPLICATION

In keeping with our longstanding business philosophy of improving communities, we endeavor to apply our resources outside of our daily work to improve the condition of our neighbors and our world, knowing that even small efforts can have a large impact.

CEM SERVICE PHILOSOPHY TRIAD

OUR WORK
Serve by providing exceptional value in our technical work focused on building and enhancing public infrastructure.

OUR PEOPLE
Serve by training and mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers to serve.

OUR NEIGHBORS
Serve by sharing profits with groups that strive to improve the human condition.

Our service philosophy begins with leveraging public investments by efficiently and effectively executing projects, and providing an exceptional experience. While this practice is good, we would rather be better. We reinvest our profits into training and mentoring young staff so that they can serve the community as future leaders. This investment practice is better, but doesn’t completely fulfill our mission. Sharing our success with nonprofits who provide services to those in need within our community is a best practice. Combine good, better and best and you get the CEM philosophy of service.
